Study Circle

By accessing the system, you agree to be bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use the system or apply for membership. We may change these at any time and we’ll do our utmost to inform you, though it would be prudent to review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of  the Study Circle system after changes mean you agree to be bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.

This Study Circle is in the control of the Masonic Order of Athelstan in England, Wales and Its Provinces Overseas. It is intended as an online forum for intellectual discussion of topics of relevance to the Order and freemasonry more generally, such as ritual, history, symbolism. It is not a place to post day to day administrative questions, proposals, enquiries, announcements or complaints, which are best directed elsewhere, or to seek official feedback from the Order on any topic.

Access is available only to current subscribing members of the Order who are members of Courts within the Constitution of England, Wales and Its Provinces Overseas. However, membership of the Order does not necessarily convey a right to membership of this Study Circle and each application is considered individually. We reserve the right to delete or suspend without notice the account of any member who, in our opinion,  does not meet the standards below or who has not accessed or contributed meaningfully to the Study Circle for a period of 12 months, or who has left the Order for any reason.
